How a spine injury changed Dr. Eric Bayliss’s life
Dealing with an old injury that never fully healed?

CREW exists because of one adjustment. This is Dr. Eric Bayliss’s story, in his own words.
The injury
"My journey to chiropractic care began with skepticism. I never could have guessed that what followed would change my life.
“In high school, I had a severe football injury. I dove to make a tackle and my head was driven down into my neck. I had spinal shock in my neck, and for six months I could barely use my arms.”
The day at the lake
"One ordinary day, I ran into a friend at the lake who was a chiropractor. I caught him up on the injury and what it had done to me, and he offered to take a look and see whether he could help.
“To say I was skeptical is an understatement. I’d been to a lot of doctor’s appointments and still couldn’t lift my arms above my shoulders. I didn’t grow up around chiropractors and didn’t know much about what they did. But I was willing to try anything that might help me move my arms again.”
The adjustment
"I went into his office with plenty of doubt, mostly as a friend with nothing to lose. He ran a series of evaluations: nerve scans, x-rays, a digital posture analysis. Then he pointed to exactly where my problem was coming from.
"He made one gentle, specific adjustment that day. When I got up, I went from barely using my arms to clapping my hands above my head.
“I looked at him and said, ‘What did you just do?’”
A new direction
"I didn’t understand what had happened, but I knew right then that I wanted to learn how to do that for other people. Those few minutes changed the direction of my life.
“That chiropractor supported me in going to Life University to study chiropractic, and the rest is history.”
Why CREW measures first
The way Dr. Eric was cared for that day is still how CREW works. Nerve scan, posture analysis, x-rays when the exam calls for them, and a doctor who shows you what they found before anything else happens. Every patient gets their own numbers, and we re-measure every twelve visits so progress is something you can see.
"Today our passion goes well beyond injuries. We want families in Milton, Alpharetta and Roswell to feel their best every day, and to do what they love as well as they can.
“From a bad tackle to tackling bad alignment in everyday people, that’s my journey. What will yours be?”
